For my National Parks 3D Prints Project, I have relied heavily on using photos I took and therefore own the copyright for. However, I am at the end of the parks I have been to!  To see a list of parks I am looking for photos for please click here. If you have a good photo (or even four to support my next project) please contact me. You just need to own the rights to it and be willing to grant me the right to use it for 3D prints.

Was a very nice day to be outside and it was time to get going on potato planting, about the only thing I plant this early!   As usual I did it "Mad Gardener Style" where I lay down cardboard and news paper, a thin layer of wood chips, and then a thick layer of hay.   I then hill will more hay or grass clippings.   Saves on digging, both for planting, and when it is time to harvest!   In the fall I just pull back the hay/grass and sort out the potatoes!  I was able to get three rows in today and plan to finish the fourth row tomorrow!

Garden C is ready for planting, although its far too early to plant the seeds as we always get freezing mornings in April and the soil is definitely not warm enough.   However, I managed to get it mulched using techniques based on lasagna gardening.

Happy Easter!

Collection currently includes Easter Eggs featuring four US National Parks.   I started with the two national parks my oldest son enjoyed the most and the two my youngest son enjoyed the most.   Created as Easter presents for them but also fit into my National Parks 3D print project!

Where to Get STLs

Have your own 3D printer, a friend with one, or even your local library? You are in luck! I am making the STLs for these available via Printables and Thingaverse so that anyone can print these out on their own.

It is a family of vegetables that its name from neo-latin for the shape of its flowers, that of a cross (the four petals resemble a cross).   It includes vegetables such as cauliflower, cabbage, kale, broccoli, brussel sprouts, and many other green leaf vegetables.   These vegetables are thought to have cancer fighting properties, contain nutrients highly beneficial to the body, and help support the liver's ability to detoxify the body.  For example having these vegetables in your diet can help reduce your hangover symptoms!
